5 Sept - School Holiday

  • Please refer to Google Site daily to find out the timings & venues for script checking.  
  • For the Booster session you see on 3 September, Coach Elgin & Coach David will be back to return your 'Letter-to-self' & to check in on how all of you are coping with the upcoming O Levels. I'll inform you of the respective venues by Tuesday. 
  • SP Engineering Talks will be held on Tuesday from 2.15-3 pm for interested parties.

Bring LD for QSE Survey @ Auditorium on next Monday, 14 July

Dear Sec 4s,

Please be reminded to bring your LDs (charged sufficiently) & be seated in Auditorium according to index number & class for morning assembly before 8.40am

After the national anthem, pledge taking & attendance is taken, a short briefing will be conducted prior to the QSE survey. This is a MOE required survey to understand your individual experiences throughout 4 years in SST. 

All teachers will exit the venue prior to the Survey. You are encouraged to speak the truth (with love) and share your thoughts on how your Secondary School experience has been. MOE will crunch the numbers & share with us some time in the future about what has been done well & what needs to be improved for the benefit of future generations.

Environment Leaders Training cum Briefing Session (1 April, 2-3.30pm)

Dear Ryan and Harriz (Environment reps),

There will be a training cum briefing session for you on April 1 (Tues) from 2-3.30pm at Tutorial Rm 1.

The sharing will be on the school's framework on environment education and their roles in leading their class in green initiatives which are to be rolled out.

Caregiving Welfare Association (CWA) Flag Day on Saturday 11th Jan 2014

Dear S4-08,

Just a reminder, the reporting venue for the flag day with Caregiving Welfare Association (CWA) on Saturday is at the office of CWA [Block 3, Ghim Moh Road, #01-294 S(270003)], which is just next to Ulu Pandan Community Centre, and within walking distance of Buona Vista MRT.

Kindly report for your Flag Day duty at least 10 minutes before your scheduled AM or PM shift to the CWA person-in-charge, Ms Gladys Chik, at the CWA office.

You will be deployed (by class) to the following locations in Singapore (see list below). Kindly bring along your Ez-link cards for travel on public transport to these locations.


Please read up the following files before Flag Day tomorrow. You should know the purpose of the fund-raising activity, it is essential that you know the importance of the role you play in raising funds for the elderly.

Temperature Taking Exercise on next Tuesday, 7 Jan 2014

Dear students,

Next Tuesday 7th Jan will be the first Temperature Taking Exercise for 2014.

Please take note of the following info:
  • Students are to proceed to classrooms when they arrive in school for their silent reading.
  • Temperature Taking Exercise will commence after singing of National Anthem and Pledge Taking.
  • Student's temperature higher then 37.6ÂșC is to be send to Temperature Measurement Station outside LO2 for 2nd round of temperature taking.
  • For students who did not bring their oral digital thermometer, they will be required to stand outside the classroom and purchase a new thermometer (from the Sec 4 Head of Year, Mr Stanley Tan) at $5 each.
  • Students temperatures will be recorded in Temperature Taking Exercise Sec 4 Class List
